Our English lessons for “college” and “lycée” students

In a constantly changing world, where it is increasingly necessary to be able to communicate with others in languages other than French, knowledge of foreign languages has become absolutely essential; this is all the more true for English, which has become the world’s main lingua franca. The earlier a child starts learning a foreign language, the more efficient that learning process will be.

PEB (Pre-Elementary Bilingual School) offers classes for middle school and high school students in Paris.

Classes are taught exclusively by native Anglophone teachers. They take place at 123 avenue de Versailles in Paris, and they act as a supplement to classes taught in the Education Nationale public education system.

PEB (Pre-Elementary Bilingual School) helps students reach and improve levels quickly (beginners, etc.), providing them with the knowledge and qualifications they need in order to reach the highest levels.

PEB (Pre-Elemenary Bilingual School) initiates teenagers to the use of English by focusing on listening, speaking, reading, and written expression, while expanding their lexical and grammatical knowledge.
A variety of techniques are used in class, including computer assisted learning, DVDs, language games, and more.

Middle school and high school students are trained in accordance with the foreign language program which is referenced under the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: A2 - Key English Test (KET), B1 - Preliminary English Test (PET), B2 - First Certificate in English (FCE), C1 - Certificate of Advanced English (CAE), C2 - Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE).

As a result, students will be able to communicate and perform work in accordance with European standards for foreign language learning.

All new students must take a written and spoken English language proficiency test before enrolling. This test helps to place the student in the group that best corresponds to his or her level and age. If the child is a beginner, no test will be necessary.

Students’ progress is officially evaluated twice a year, and evaluation results are sent to the parents.
Classes are held in small groups, thus encouraging individual participation (a maximum of 8 students per group).

To enroll to PEB (Pre-Elementary Bilingual School) courses, please send us a signed up form, either by e-mail or by regular mail at 123 avenue de Versailles, 75016 Paris.

Once this form is received, we will organize a proficiency test, in order to stream the child into the most suitable group.
